St Dunstan's Church, Cranbrook

Saturday Welcome and Supervision Rota

From January to March 2021, St Dunstan’s Church will only be open on Saturdays between 11.00am and 3.00pm and for Individual Prayer only. An area of the church, (front pews) has been set aside for this purpose.

For many of our visitors and volunteers we live in anxious times adjusting once again to lockdown rules. We believe that in keeping the church open, albeit for one day a week, we can provide a sacred place for peace, prayer and reflection.

But the safety of our visitors is paramount and for this reason we are looking to recruit a number of volunteers who might be prepared to steward and welcome visitors as well as to clean/sanitise areas including pews, handles and handrails. Ideally, we would like volunteers to be available in blocks of 2-hour sessions (see below along with guidance notes).

If you are able to spare some time to volunteer and help us keep our church open, please contact Nye Jones on 07432 571321 or nyejones@btinternet.com

Thank you.
