Worship
A service is most likely to be the first point of contact you have had with our church. At St. Dunstan’s we rejoice in the fact that we are all different and therefore "one size does not fit all". At the present time, there are three congregations on a normal Sunday morning and occasional afternoon and evening services. We hope that you will find a service where you feel spiritually at home, although you may wish, and indeed you are encouraged, to experience each form of worship. There are many who attend both traditional and contemporary services.
We have formal liturgical service patterns with traditional hymns, informal praise with contemporary worship songs, and monthly all-age services.
Throughout the year there are special services when we all come together. These can often provide an opportunity to invite neighbours and friends.
We are greatly encouraged, especially at festivals such as Christmas and Easter, often to see the church brimming with people of all ages. Latecomers can find it difficult to get a seat!
We pride ourselves on being a rural community and we have an annual
Rogation Sunday service in the Spring out in the fields to bless the new crops, which is always followed by a good tea on a local farm.
